The kingdom of Bihook is a farily small country in the Fourdeaf Coast. It's known for its bright sky blue cliffs on the southern coast. mountains in the center of the country cause rain shadows, making the landsacpe have pokckets on tropical jungles, dry forest, to sandy deserts.

Bihook is also known for their pride over their culture, tho it is also known that they have a long history of issues with their law enforcement.

Culture and Socity

Bihook socity cares deeply about everyone doing their duity and staying in their place. They do not have much space for people who want a life outside of how they where born. Having a family is expected and those who never become parnets are shunned by socity. Foreigners are welcomed to live in Bihook as long as they comform to expiations

Gender

Boys and girls from the start are trained to do their role in life, with little to no room for those who want to step out of the roll they where born in.

Music: Most musical instruments are small and handhelled as dancing and moveing while preforming is a keystone.

Clothing and Class

Hair:

Short hair styles that reach the shoulders or shoter are the most common. Keeping your hair long is seen as low class, messy. While many braided hair is seen as a hairstyle for those who are active and have physical jobs. Hairstyles that take many hours to do such as detailed braids are seen as styles for nobles durring holidays.

Childern:

Babies and young childern wear open back tunics that are tied closed, for parents to easily take care of the child, while making it slightly harder for the child to undo their own clothes. Older kids dress much like adults.

Men:

The average Bihook man wear simple tunics with loose trousers. Traders or high status crafters wear shawlls or capes crossing on right side of their body. These shawlls are often passdown to their oldest son, if they do not have a son men are burried wearing their shawll.

Women:

Once puberty starts girls start wearing veils, these veils are woren on the head looesly most of the time. But durring menstruation women wear these veils more tightly hiding all there hair. They belive that durring menstruation a woman's hair becomes more weak and brittle. Most working class women wear ,a long sleeved undershirt, long open front tunics that are tied in the fornt. under that they wear long loose trousers.

Guards:

Guards wear full or half plate, lower level guards wear leather armor. Under the armor simple tunics, trousers, and tall leather boots. Guards also wear symbols of the city or region they work in.

Priestesses:

All those in Bihook they follow both the god of 'The Light' and 'The Umbra', the only temples in Bihook are dedicated to 'The light'. These temples are fully run by Priestesses, not even allowing men into the most holy parts of the temple. In public these priestesses wear loose long sleeved white floor length dresses, as well as multiple long white veils that fully cover the face.

Mages:

All tho everyone can learn magic, only men are allowed to become mages. Women are only allowed to learn utility spells, and a mage is expected to learn combat spells in order to have the title. Mages are often well studied people who are hired by knights or noble families. Mages are known for wearing soft floppy felted wool hats, with a tassel. Colors of these hats denotes what type of mage they are.

Knights:

becoming a knight is the closest a citizen can become a noble. Knights are well respected warriors and law enforcement, who even after their retirement they still hold their titel.

Nobels:

Nobles are families who rule over the many cities and towns in Bihoook. They are in charge of the kingdom's planned economy and own the land. Telling the citizens what they should farm, build, trade, ect. Noble Old-Bloods are also known for two things, metallic eyes and having the bloodline magic of both their father and mother.

Each noble family is conected to a metal, with the three royal noble houses in Bihook being conected to Adamantine, Gold, and Platinum. Nobles wear countless necklaces, beads, jewlary made of the metal that matches their noble metal. Nobles keep their hair short, Nobles who are also knights might keep their hair slightly longer in protective braid hair styles. Tassels and religious embroidery are the most common decorative elementals for noble clothing. Nobles wear white bright colors, and colors related to their to their noble mental; The light and dark shade. For sample the Reick family, the royal mage family, metal is gold they wear shades of yellow and red. While the Rusallka family, the emperors family; their colors are royal blue to deep purple.

Noble men wear loose trousers, long embroidered undershirts, open front tunics with a shawll of belt to hold it closed. The open front tunic is left open near the bottom order to display the embroidered undershirt. Noblemen always wear shawlls or capes crossing on the left side of their body.

Noble women like all women in Bihook wear veils once puberty starts. Noble veils are clossed in the fornt with buttons, the fornt panel of the veil reaches down from the breast bone down to the knees. Women also wear long embroidered skirts that reach the ankles, a long sleeved undershirt, and a long open front tunic with big bellowing sleeves, closed with a small fabric belt. Just like all women it is taboo to wear shwalls and capes, so they reframe from that.

Food

The majority dishes are two parts, a 'wet' part and a 'dry' part. The wet part tends to be soups, stews, or even dips. While the dry part of a meal are breads, doughs, crackers, dried or fried grains.

The dry part of the meal is often used to dip into the wet part of the meal. Simple meals are often dumplings or buns where the wet part of the meal is the filling of bun.

Seafood, Goats, sheeps, and wild game are the most common meats in Bihook.

Vegetables that grow underground are seen as poor people, seen as dirty and gross by the rich. While foods that grow far from the ground are seen as clean and healthier, this makes furit trees extreamly coveted.

History

Bihook once was a kingdom of great grander, but durring one of the many fourdeaf coast wars, it's lands where ravaged. Spells and weapons of old where casted on its lands making it poor for growth. Many of the plants there grow have very little nutrition. Bihook has bene struggling to rebuild, the country has been corruped by nobillity, and its laws are used as a way to opress others and build more power for the nobles. They will agure that it is needed to make the kingdom as grand as it once was.
